Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India sold 152,382 units in July 2011. The overall growth for the company is 10 pc over July, 2010. The company sold 91,642 units of scooters, registering Y-O-Y growth of 20 pc. It sold 60,470 motorcycles, registering a negative growth of 2 per cent. The company announced that dispatch of two-wheelers has started from its 2nd factory at Tapukara on July 11, 2011. The company has also signed an MoU for a 3rd factory with Karnataka Government on July 14, 2011.
